We tend to avoid or resist the things we fear or don’t understand. This is part of our neurological wiring and how we have survived for thousands of years. Yes, fear helps keep us alive. However, our survival isn’t on the line for many things we fear, including accepting changes or new ideas. It can actually stunt our growth and prevent us from fully experiencing life.
