Jay received a proposal from his guru who believed he could share what he had learnt if he left the path. Jay moved back to London with his parents, in massive debt with no recognizable skills on his resume. Fortunately, his friends, now working for the largest organizations in the world yet experiencing tremendous stress and pressure, invited Jay to coach them on wellbeing, purpose and mindfulness. Tom Bilyeu

Tom Bilyeu is a filmmaker and serial entrepreneur who chased money HARD for nearly a decade and came up emotionally bankrupt. He realized that the struggle is guaranteed, but the money is not, so you’d damn-well better love the struggle. To that end, he and his partners sold their technology company and founded Quest Nutrition – a company predicated not on money, but rather on creating value for people. The company mission was to end metabolic disease – one of two pandemics facing the planet. Despite not being focused on money Quest exploded, becoming a billion dollar business in roughly 5 years, making it the 2nd fastest growing company in North America according to Inc. Magazine. After exiting Quest and generating extraordinary personal wealth, Bilyeu turned his attention to the other pandemic facing society – the poverty of poor mindset. To solve the mindset problem at scale and help hundreds of millions of people adopt an empowering mindset he has co-founded the media studio, Impact Theory with his business partner and wife, Lisa Bilyeu. Their aim is to influence the cultural subconscious by building a single-minded content creation machine that makes exactly one type of content – content that empowers people. If Disney created the most magical place on earth, Impact Theory will be creating the most empowering place on earth.

Elizabeth Smart

The abduction of Elizabeth Smart was one of the most followed child abduction cases of our time. Elizabeth was abducted on June 5, 2002, and her captors controlled her by threatening to kill her and her family if she tried to escape. Fortunately, the police safely returned Elizabeth back to her family on March 12, 2003, after being held a prisoner for 9 grueling months.

Through this traumatic experience, Elizabeth has become an advocate for change related to child abduction, recovery programs, and National legislation. Elizabeth triumphantly testified before her captor and the world about the very private nightmare she suffered during her abduction, which led to conviction. The Founder of the “Elizabeth Smart Foundation”, Elizabeth has also helped promote The National AMBER Alert, The Adam Walsh Child Protection & Safety Act and other safety legislation to help prevent abductions.

Elizabeth has chronicled her experiences in the New York Times best-selling book, "My Story." In addition, she and other abduction survivors worked with the Department of Justice to create a survivors guide, entitled, “You're Not Alone: The Journey From Abduction to Empowerment.” This guide is meant to encourage children who have gone through similar experiences not to give up but to know that there is hope for a rewarding life.

Elizabeth has recently released a new powerful and inspiring book about what it takes to overcome trauma, find the strength to move on, and reclaim one’s life. "Where There’s Hope" is the result of Elizabeth’s mission: It is both an up-close-and-personal glimpse into her healing process and a heartfelt how-to guide for readers to make peace with the past and embrace the future.
Elizabeth’s abduction and recovery continue to motivate parents, law enforcement and leaders worldwide to focus on children’s safety. She emphasizes vigilance by "everyday" people and the belief that hope always exists to find every missing child.

Smart attended Brigham Young University, studying music as a harp performance major. She married her husband Matthew in 2012, and they now have two beautiful children. Elizabeth’s example is a daily demonstration that there really is life after tragedy.

Leila Janah

Lifestyle entrepreneur Leila Janah has a simple, effective approach to lifting people out of poverty: give people work, not money — because a living wage transforms lives. She has created four companies and written two books devoted to this idea. Her most recent book is Give Work: Reversing Poverty One Job at a Time. Leila Janah is the founder and CEO of Samasource, which connects people living below the poverty line to digital work for major tech companies, of LXMI, a rare-botanical skincare company employing women in developing countries, and two other anti-poverty companies.

Give Work. Leila’s social business Samasource (“sama” means equal in Sanskrit) gives dignified, steady, fair-wage digital work to people living in dire poverty in Africa, Asia, and the Americas — work such as data management, content curation, and search engine optimization for clients like Google, Walmart, and Microsoft. Her book Give Work lays out how and why this approach to poverty works, in contrast to conventional approaches to development aid.

The Give Work model builds on her Harvard degree in international development and the insights she’s gained from her first job working as a management consultant in Mumbai, India, and her own work in the field building Samasource.

But she didn’t stop there. Challenged to address poverty here in the U.S., she formed Samaschool, which trains low-income workers for the digital economy. In the same way, her skincare company LXMI provides work for women in developing countries and products to consumers made from organic botanicals. Then Leila set up Samahope, the first-ever crowdfunding site for medical treatments for people who can’t afford them in the US and around the world.

Credentials. In addition to creating and leading these companies, Leila Janah has held a number of other impressive positions and received numerous awards, including the following.

Klayne Rasmussen, Ph.D.

Mental Health care Legend and Innovator of the Second Order Change transformative process. Klayne Rasmussen, Ph.D. has spent the last 26 years not just as an agent of change but as an agent of transformation. As a mental health care professional he has invested over 30,000 hours working with individuals and organizations helping them transform their lives and companies. He has always been driven to find more effective ways of helping people get more out of their lives, whether personal, relational or professional. He has developed an innovative and powerfully effective approach to change that is rapid, painless, and creates change at the root level. His approach doesn’t just focus on doing something different but on transforming the person, at their core. This is what is called second order change.

Every person walking this planet has something in their life that stops them from having the life they dream about. There are many things that keep us from our dreams of being or feeling more successful. These are called blocks. They also keep us from finding real satisfaction with our success. Once you remove whatever it is that is blocking you from achieving the success you deserve, no matter what area of life that applies to, you will be different and you can thrive. Removing these blocks is the first and most important step to true abundance.

We usually aren’t even aware of what our blocks are, we just know we are not satisfied. We feel we are not good enough, or that we are not enough. Dr. Rasmussen specializes in uncovering and helping people remove the blocks that keep them from succeeding and/or being satisfied with the success they have achieved. Dr Rasmussen has pioneered and developed a revolutionary new process to remove the blocks quickly
and painlessly. He has experienced the change that occurs with removing blocks in his own life and has seen the miraculous effects for himself and for his clients. Most approaches to change start with working on one’s outlook, or how you see yourself, and then doing something different or differently. This is what is called first order change: just doing something different. Positive self talk, changing your routine, starting a diet, or beginning a workout program are examples of first order change. First order change is valuable and helpful. But it can take a lot of time and energy to make the change permanent and most people can’t sustain first order change long enough for it to have a permanent effect. Second order change, on the other hand, is not simply doing something different but actually becoming and being different. This kind of change only comes from deep within oneself. It brings personal internal change that will lead to real satisfaction with self and life. Once the blocks are removed Dr. Rasmussen then helps people learn how to live in this new state of being he calls, “living newly.” Without Second Order Change in your life, you might have wealth and find yourself feeling empty, especially if you attained wealth to prove you are something. Your relationships feel hollow and pointless, especially if you need them to validate yourself. Self-help programs and literature do little to make your life better if you don’t become different by achieving second order change. Dr. Rasmussen’s Second Order Change program has helped many people achieve rapid, lasting change, greater satisfaction, and experience true abundance for the first time in their lives.
